MEKOLAPSO & DESCO BIG BAND is a band created from the singer-songwriter of Ritmes Urbans Mekolapso (Martina Themis). In principle he trained to accompany his songs live, but gradually and together with the other members of the group, they were creating and incorporating new songs. The group is and has its base of operations in Badalona.

Since August 2023 they have been recording their first album, which they have released in January 2024. The album includes 13 tracks, ranging from RAP to FUNK through JAZZ.
